Sula, during a rare moment of silence

Sula is a Bengal born in Italy on 26 October 2008. She currently resides in Rouen, France, with her human bbbhltz.

Her first humans named her after the 1973 novel by Toni Morrison.

While Sula is recognized for her beauty, soft fur, and agility that defies her age, she is most known for being the most talkative feline most humans have ever met. Indeed, Sula meows from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to sleep. She meows when happy or sad. She meows while eating and while sleeping. She even meows while using the facilities.

Personality and other traits[edit | edit source]

Sula is an extremely bossy cat. It doesn't matter the size or age of other cats, Sula is respected by her peers and will always eat first. In the many years she has resided with her human, never has she ever deliberately bitten or scratched a human. She lets her presence be known through her voice. Trilling is reserved for special occasions, she usually expresses herself through loud, almost barking, meows.

When sleeping, Sula occasionally enters a state of torpor. Humans are able to pick her up like a rag doll and manipulate her. Her humans keep a watchful eye on her when she is asleep on the arm of a chair or couch; she has taken many tumbles.

In her early years, Sula suffered from mild anxiety which caused excessive grooming and licking, leading to bald patches. For now, this anxiety has subsided.
